Multi Search Hub is one browser extension with a free mode and optional license-activated Pro features. You choose which search engines to use. Results from supported providers appear together; other providers open in separate tabs. The developer does not operate a server that receives your search terms or browsing history. Selected third-party search services and the licensing provider receive information needed for their services, as described below.
The extension uses browser-local extension storage for the following information, where applicable:
Local extension storage is distinct from the developer’s own server. Browser profile access, backups, device management, and other software can affect local data. Uninstalling generally clears the extension’s local storage, but any files you exported remain in your possession.
You may export and import settings files containing engine and group preferences. Passwords and master-password information are not intended to be included in settings exports. Protect exported configuration files and do not post them publicly.
When you initiate a search, the extension sends your query to the search providers you selected or opens their search pages in separate browser tabs. Search providers can receive your search terms, IP address and normal request details under their own privacy policies. The extension may retrieve titles, links, snippets, images and other search-result information to assemble a consolidated results page where supported. Provider availability and results depend on their own rules.
If you follow a search result link, the destination site may receive information and use cookies or analytics according to its own practices.
Website autofill is optional. You first create a master password, provide the relevant website credentials, and grant site access. The extension attempts to fill credentials for that site and may attempt automatic submission only when you enable that option. Website sign-in may fail due to a provider’s login process or security checks.
The extension uses browser permissions for local storage, right-click/selected-text searching, opening and organizing tabs, reading selected providers’ results, and optional access for user-added search engines or sign-in sites. Permission requests may appear when you enable optional features.
Pro purchases are processed by Dodo Payments. The checkout opens outside the extension and Dodo collects and processes the payment and customer details you provide, under its own privacy notices. The extension does not collect credit-card numbers.
When you activate Pro, the extension sends your license key and necessary activation-instance details and an installation label to Dodo’s live license service for activation, periodic validation, and deactivation. Search history and website passwords are not intentionally sent to Dodo during license checks. A previously verified license may continue to work temporarily offline, subject to validation rules.
The v2.0.0 extension is not designed to transmit search history to developer-operated analytics servers or run developer advertising and profiling. Third-party search websites, Dodo, and the browser/store may independently collect information. Executable extension JavaScript is packaged with the extension rather than being fetched for remote execution.
Free and Pro are modes of the same extension. Pro features require a valid license, but both modes follow this privacy policy.
Multi Search Hub is a general-purpose tool not directed to children under 13. External search results may contain mature content.
Changes to data handling will be reflected in an updated policy at this address, with an updated effective date.
