How to Organize Online Research Without Opening Dozens of Tabs
Use groups, presets and an intentional workflow to stay organized.
Start with a research question
Write one clear question and decide what evidence would answer it. A narrower query generally produces more manageable results than a broad, ambiguous term.
Work by source category
Use Web engines for general discovery; Images & Videos for visual demonstrations; Social & Communities for first-person discussions; and Finance & Markets for financial-news discovery.
These sources differ in reliability. Treat community posts as experiences or leads, not authoritative evidence.
Choose the right result view
Where supported, the extension groups consolidated results by engine, making comparisons easier. For websites that require direct access, use their external-opening links instead.
Repeatable workflows
Review and adjust engine selections for each task. Pro includes named engine presets, search history and additional customization, useful for recurring research. Save important findings in your own notes with source URLs and dates.
